Taylor Swift
´´No matter what love throws at you, you have to believe in it. You have to believe in love stories, prince charmings & happily ever afters. Because love is fearless.´´
On December 13, 1989 a girl named Taylor Alison Swift was born. She's a famous country song-writer and musician.
Since she was 11 years old she made her first trip to Nashville, in hopes of obtaining a major record deal. She gave copies of karaoke songs to every record label, but she got rejected. When she returned to Pennsylvania she was asked to sing the national anthem, which was a success. At 15 years old, she rejected RCA records because the company didn't gave her the right to record her own written songs. She performed at Nashville's 'The Bluebird Cafe'. Scott Borchetta was astonished by her presentation and she signed to his record label, Big Machine Records.
In 2006 she released her first single, 'Tim McGraw', and later that year, on October 24, 2006, her self-titled album; selling 39,000 copies the first week.
In November 11, 2008 she released her second studio album named 'Fearless'', it sold 592,304 copies. Her single 'Love Story' became a hit in the pop and country charts.
In October 25, 2010 she released her third album called 'Speak Now', she wrote all the songs by herself, and it is based on all the things she wished she would've said when the moment was right. Before this date, on August 4, 2010 her first single for the album, 'Mine' was leaked and reached number 1 on iTunes.
She is very sincere when it comes to song writing, she has said before that her songs are her diary. She tries to write songs about things that have happened to her, such as break-ups, but at the same time things that her fans could relate to. She's really transparent and natural when it comes to her songs and maybe that's the reason why she's so famous. She has been in movies such like the Jonas Brothers: Concert Experience, Hannah Montana: The Movie and Valentine's Day.
She has been in 'Cover Girl' ads, which focuses on makeup and L.E.I Jeans.
She has founded a campaign to protect kids and teens from online predators.
She has been nominated to 185 awards, and has won 98 of them. In those 98 you can include 4 Grammy Awards.
She has inspire millions of people, teens most of all. She is one of the most sincere artists out there. The music industry is so lucky to have such an amazing song writer, a true role model that girls can look up to. She is never into partying and alcohol and her sincerity in everything she does makes her amazing. Ten years from now I can still see her writing songs about how magical love is, and trying to tell people that they shouldn’t give up on it. She encourages girls to be themselves and to not be ashamed of whom they really are, that they should be proud of it. In every one of her songs there’s a valuable lesson you can learn, and not only about love but about taking chances, letting go of anything that’s hurting you, to appreciate the people you have around because you never know when they will be gone, and to let you know that growing up is never easy but you should take childhood memories and live with them forever. If you give her the chance she will turn your world around, her songs will be like your drug, you’ll keep coming back for more of them. I hope her fans remember her one day, even when they have kids, and if they have, they should talk about how amazing she was. Taylor Swift will long live until the very end of times. Thank you Taylor, for inspiring us with who you are and your flawless songs.
